As the head of the Trinity, God the Father, the Creator, made everything we see touch and feel including our own selves. He is in control of everything He chooses. He can affect change anywhere He has chosen. He chooses to never override our free will. God is a loving, mighty, sovereign being.
Jesus, the Son of God, left Heaven and came to earth 2000 years ago to physically and spiritually make atonement, or right the wrongs, of the people that would choose to surrender to Him as Lord. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father as an advocate for those that call Him “Lord”.
Jesus saves us and the Holy Spirit keeps us. The Spirit of God was released by the sacrifice of Jesus from the confines of His holy temple to be married with the Spirit of Man. The Holy Spirit dwells in our inward most being and leads us, guides us, and moves through us to further His Kingdom. Jesus said we receive POWER through the Holy Spirit to be good disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Church is the active body of Christ on earth. It glorifies God, makes disciples, and reaches the lost. Just like Jesus, the Church should have signs such as divine healing, prophecy, signs and wonders, and the gifts of the spirit should be moving freely inside the boundaries of scripture and the pastors. The Church, much like our Christ, is alive.
Followers of Jesus can be identified by those living holy lives as a new creation in Christ Jesus. At salvation we are called to be baptised in water as an outward proclamation of an inward decision symbolizing being buried in Christ’s death and raised as a new creation in His resurrection. Truly experiencing Jesus Christ will result in never taking grace for granted because you understand the sacrifice that was made. The Holy Spirit, in His guidance, will convict, not condemn, a believer of things that grieve Him. Being a Christian means constantly moving towards Jesus by way of submission to the Holy Spirit, Scripture, and spiritual authority.
God did not design mankind to do life alone. Our walk with the Lord is greatly accelerated and enhanced when it is with other believers. The Unity of the Church is a prerequisite for the anointing of God to flow. Our relationships matter. We need Community for accountability, for encouragement, and for growth.
The Word is alive. God created our universe with his words. His words are just as authoritative today. The word of God has the ability to separate our spirit from our own selves so that we can be true followers of Jesus. It is a guide and the Word of God NEVER FAILS.
God enthrones himself on the praises of His people. When we sing songs of praise and worship, it stirs up the heavens to affect the earthly. We worship by audibly singing and speaking, physically raising our hands and our posture, spiritually clinging to the Holy Spirit, and Mentally focusing on our God. Worship is a momentary and an ongoing consecration to our God and not ourselves.
Simply, prayer is talking to God. Moreover, It is doing so with a vulnerable, exposed heart. God hears our prayers and our prayers activate Heaven. Prayer is rarely one sided; God speaks to his children through the Holy Spirit. Prayer is more than communication, it is connection with a Holy God.
The Kingdom of God will forever be sovereign, holy, and majestic. The Kingdom is the people, places, and times that are chosen by the sovereignty of God. The Kingdom has no end. Christ’s sacrifice doesn’t just reconcile our earthly being, but it seals our souls for eternity with Abba Father. The Kingdom is more than the reach of the sovereignty of God, it is an eternal, inseparable family.
